Speaking of collectables, I personally love collecting stuff in games. Exploring every nook and cranny of the place you're currently in kept the game fresh for me. However, I didn't mind because of the new enemies each chapter, the story and the collect-a-thon this game also is. Because yes, the game might start to feel a little bit repetitive. Some enemies are returning while others are new but with mechanics similiar to ones you already know. Which prevents the game from becoming too repetitive. And just goes to show just how strong the aesthetics of this game is. The addition of a new dress every chapter is also very nice and makes Alice fit in to the part of Wonderland she's currently in. Also, worth noting that it is a pretty dark game with some pretty messed up themes.Įvery level in the game feels new and interesting. Vague but not so vague that it's lost on you. For a game that covers traumatic experiences and abuse it does so perfectly. The aesthetics, gameplay and overall feel of the game is great. I'm impressed by how great the game still feels. ![]() I have just finished Alice: Madness Returns for the first time in almost 10 years.
